Ministries
CHCC has many ministries, benefitting both the congregation as well as the Lawton community. Read below to learn more about each of them.
Children's Ministry
We have a very active youth group, including ages 5 to 18. When they're not rappelling or hiking in the refuge, they're picking up litter at a nearby stream. They have hearts of servants and love to learn about our Lord. Check out the Calendar page and the CHCC Youth & Parents Facebook page to see what the youth group is up to next!
LIFT
The ladies of Carriage Hills have started a group called LIFT, which stands for Living In Faith Togeter. All ladies are welcome to join in on the fun. They play games, discuss important topics, and build lasting relationships. If you would like to know more, please contact Jessica Stephens or Claudia Ragsdale for details!
Men's Bible Study
Every Thursday evening at 7:00 pm, the men of Carriage Hills meet at the church to have a Bible study. Deep, meaningful conversations take place each week as the men grow together in Christ. All men are welcome to join this study!
Women's Ministry
The women of CHCC meet on the third Saturday of each month to share breakfast and a Bible study. The current study is about 12 women of the Bible who were used by God for good. The ladies also have a "card ministry" to keep in touch with the folks of our church. The ladies have provided hand-made blankets to our own home-bound folks and also to folks in nursing home situations.
Nursery
Each Sunday and Wednesday, we have a nursery available for kiddos up to age 3. Miss Sarah, our awesome nursery lady, has been at CHCC for 14 years. The kids love her, and she loves spending time with them allowing parents and guardians time to worship without worrying about their little ones.
